Shift Pay Audit Privacy Policy

River Apps does not collect Shift Pay Audit records on a River Apps server. The app lets you enter and store information on your device, including job names; hourly rate labels and amounts; overtime settings; pay-period settings; shift start and end times; break durations; shift notes; pay-stub gross amounts; comparison notes; and rule-history identifiers.

The current app does not require an account or collect your name, email address, employer identity, tax number, bank information, precise location, contacts, calendar, photos, camera input, microphone input, advertising identifier, or a list of other installed apps. It does not automatically receive your payroll records or pay-stub images.

Calculations are performed on the device using the shift, pay-period, rate, and overtime rules you enter. A displayed difference is an estimate and review cue, not a legal conclusion or proof of an employer error.

App records are stored in the app's local key-value storage on the device. In the current iOS dependency, this storage is placed in the application-support area and is excluded from iCloud backup by default. On-screen edits may temporarily remain in memory when a storage write fails, and the app warns that they have not been saved.

The Shift Pay Audit product source does not contain an API endpoint or application-level fetch, Axios, XMLHttpRequest, or WebSocket request for its core operation. Internet access is not required for the product's calculations or local records.

Current non-production iOS development builds include Expo developer tooling that may discover and connect to a development computer over the local network. This is development behavior, not a River Apps data service or part of the intended App Store workflow. The release configuration will be re-audited before submission.

The app is built with React Native and Expo framework modules. The product directly uses AsyncStorage for local data, Expo FileSystem to create a temporary CSV in the app cache, and Expo Sharing to present the iOS share sheet. These components support on-device operation; the audited product code does not use them to send records to River Apps.

The dependency list also contains standard Expo interface, image, font, routing, device, linking, browser, splash-screen, status-bar, system-UI, symbol, gesture, animation, safe-area, and screen libraries. No third-party payroll, banking, cloud-storage, customer-data, advertising, analytics, or tracking service is configured in the audited product source.

Shift Pay Audit does not include a third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK in the audited source. River Apps therefore does not receive app-usage events or crash reports from the product through such a service.

Shift Pay Audit does not include an advertising SDK, display personalized advertising, or use personal data for advertising in the audited source. River Apps does not sell personal data.

Local records remain on the device until they are removed through available recovery controls or the app is uninstalled. Removing the app deletes its local app container. Temporary CSV files are created in the app cache when you choose to export; the operating system manages cache-file retention. A CSV shared to another app or service is then controlled by the destination you selected.

River Apps cannot remotely view or delete records stored only on your device because it does not hold a server copy.

Shift Pay Audit is a work-record and pay-estimation utility, not a service directed to children. River Apps does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the audited product because the product sends no records to a River Apps server. If you believe you have a children's privacy concern, contact us.

Keeping records on the device reduces server-side exposure, but no device or storage method is completely secure. Protect access to your device, review CSV content before sharing, and choose export destinations carefully. Do not use the app to store information you do not need for your review.

Depending on where you live, privacy law may give you rights concerning personal data a developer controls. River Apps does not hold a server copy of Shift Pay Audit records. You control the local records through your device and can remove the app to delete its local container. For questions about information you voluntarily send in a support email, contact us.

We may update this policy when the app's features, dependencies, data practices, or legal requirements change. The updated policy will show a new effective date. Material product changes will be reflected before or with the applicable release.
